This small vase is part of my series of lustre pottery. Lustre is an unusual type of glaze surface in that the color changes depending on how light hits is. This vase ranges from colors of smokey black and blue to matte red. In the right light, lustre surfaces resembling oil on water pop and are revealed. These pots are alluring and very hard to produce. Every piece is a complete one of a kind.
